The Welsh Corgi stands less than 12" at the withers and fits nicely into apartment living as well as the outdoors. The Corgi was bred as a herding dog and takes cold climates very well.
When looking for your perfect Corgi look for a low-set, strong, sturdy body, moderately long and low, from 10 to 12 inches at the withers in the adult. The head should be foxy in appearance, having erect ears with rounded tips.
